Is blogging a reasonable form of assessment?
Yes, I definitely think that blogging would be good form of formative assessment I can give my students.
As a science teacher, it is important to emphasis the application of science concepts to real life scenarios to students. This can be done by asking students to blog about their learning in class and how can they use what they learnt in their every day life . This will be a good reveiw for the students and also improve their thinking process.
They can also share their ideas and learn from other students prespectives.
It is a good team work and the students can do it right from their homes.
By doing so, I can check online about their learning process in a collaborative way.
